  • Ingredients:
    • 10.58 oz (300 g) broccoli, cut into small florets
    • 3 slices ginger, thinly sliced
    • 10.58 oz (300 g) beef, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
    • 3 tsp dark soy sauce
    • 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
    • 2 tsp sugar (divided)
    • 3/4 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper (divided)
    • 5 tsp corn starch
    • 9 tsp water (divided)
    • 4 tsp oil
    • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
    • 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup water
  • Directions:
    1. In a bowl, marinate beef with 1/2 tsp soy sauce, 3 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 3/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 5 tsp corn starch, and 8 tsp water. Mix well and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
    2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat, add marinated beef, and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
    3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant. Add broccoli, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 2 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup water, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Stir well.
    4. Cover and cook for about 2 minutes or until broccoli is tender-crisp. Return beef to the pan and stir well to combine.
