Ingredients:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 25 g flour
  • 30 g corn starch
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 20 g butter
  • 6 teaspoons Nutella chocolate spread (or melted milk chocolate)
  • Roasted peanuts or other nuts, for topping
  • Pistachios, for decoration
  • 6 paper or glass cups

 

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together the flour, corn starch, sugar, and vanilla sugar.
  2. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and Nutella until well combined.
  5. Pour the custard into the cups, filling them about three-quarters full.
  6. Let the custard cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle roasted peanuts and pistachios on top for decoration.
