  • 1 pound smoked kielbasa, sliced
  • 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and brown the kielbasa slices until slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. To the slow cooker, add the diced potatoes, browned kielbasa, sautéed onion and garlic, paprika, oregano, and chicken broth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir to combine.
  5. Set the slow cooker on low and cook for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
